Closest to the kitchen this interior room is the first to receive the delicious smells of breakfast each morning. Sleeps 2 on a Queen bed and has attached private bath with walk-in shower and an antique claw foot soak tub. Soak as long as you like without any health restrictions.

We loved our stay here. Wish it could have been longer, but we will be back again. The food was wonderful and so delicious. It was very comfortable and very welcoming. We really loved the Jacuzzi and especially the breakfast! We hope to return someday soon.

Newest feature to this charming dormer room is a double glass patio door that leads directly from the room on to the Observation Deck. Designed for the single traveler only, with a bright sunny atmosphere and hardwood floors. Bring your star gazing gear and set up on the observation deck if you wish. Even sleep out under the stars if it is your dream. The very efficient attached private bath has an unusual corner toilet, sink and shower.

Our desire is to offer every guest as much as possible to help you relax and unwind in these tough economic times. Heaven knows we need that hick up a mountain trail or walk in the woods or window shopping experience right? So here is an idea we think will help. Our Full Breakfasts are so filling that many guests tell us they won't even need lunch but if you feel you do we welcome you into our kitchen to fix your own picnic meal. Bring your lunch goodies and store them in either your cooler or our guest refrigerator. Then eat your evening meal out at one of our many fine affordable local restaurants.

Our rooms accommodate 2 adults and 4 in the Misty Mountain Retreat
Rates may change at any time and are subject to state and local tax. Rates may change seasonally as well.
No Minimum stay required however the Innkeepers reserve the option to exchange your one night stay to a different room should that room be rented for a two or more night stay. The Time Traveler( single guest) may be excluded from this offer.
Smoking is allowed in limited outdoor areas only
We cannot accept pets or children at this time. The Thundering Paws Pet Resort is where we take our pets when we vacation and they love it there.
Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in the main areas however you may enjoy your beverages in your private room or suite.
Check-In time is 4 to 6 PM. Check-Out is 11 AM. We must ask that you stay within these times due to our cleaning and food prep work. Please call as you near the Inn and have cell service so we can make sure our gate is open for you .If you wish to drop off your bags prior to 4 PM we can accommodate you with advance notice.
Please note that special rates/discounts may not be combined.

Cancellation Policy

We really want you to come enjoy the Mountains. We are a small personalized business and thus you receive individual detailed attention but because we are a small business, cancellations impact us and other guests more so then the larger lodging establishments. We understand you may need to cancel or depart earlier then planned as none of us knows what tomorrow brings so we have a refund plan that we feel is workable for all. Book your reservation by calling 575-336-1231. All reservations are confirmed with your (Master Card, Visa or check) and may be refunded in the form of a refund certificate useable for six months from the date of the original booking. Refund certificates may be issued only once. Gift certificate reservations and No-Shows will not receive a refund certificate. Holidays and our peak seasons ( mid May to mid September) are not available for the use of a refund certificate. Whole house,special event or extended ( week or more) stays are confirmed with a payment of half the total stay and this deposit will be retained in the event of a cancellation with no refund certificate possible.
