Being
Here
Live the romance of the Victorian Country Farmhouse era.
Such touches as canopied window seats and king sized beds. Watch deer
grazing in the meadow, enjoy short walks through the wooded private
grounds, sip lemonade on the porch, gaze into the dark night
sky to count the stars or curl up and relax in front of the
parlor's fireplace with a good book from Mark Twain and
other oldies-but-goodies library.
The spectacular treetop vistas, Canyons and Capitan
Mountains offer up an unhurried atmosphere as the sun
unfolds it's golden glow each day. This magnificent show of
nature is sure to start your day with a greater appreciation
for what lies ahead. Filtered glistening sunlight dancing
through the feathered shadows of the tall pines, junipers
and pinions are a never ending point of fascination. The
large wraparound Hummingbird deck, under-the-stars Jacuzzi
and observation deck, as well as the 8 acres of secluded
woodland are at your personal
disposal.
Aromatherapy nature's way - bringing the outdoors Inn.
Natural woodland fragrance is found (guess where?) in
mountain flora and forest that is transferred onto your
pillow via the old fashioned clothes line. The freshness of
all outdoors to rest your head upon is a true aroma therapy
and not just a spray can of motel, hotel disinfectant.
Nothing compares to the sweet smell of cedar, damp from
afternoon gentle showers or morning mountain dew.
Respect and gratitude are not often (if ever) listed as
amenities. In today's time you want the very best for your
dollar but it is seldom that a minimum wage hotel/motel
employee is thinking along those lines. Evergreen Manor has
two employees and they are the owners David and Bonnie
Lambert. We rank respect and gratitude as the primary
amenity with every other one connected. Each and every
detail of the Manor and your stay, the service and the oath
to excellence take root in this common thread of respect and
gratitude. Acts of appreciation can be seen, smelled,
tasted, felt or touched and also heard. This total senses
pleasurable feedback combines into lasting memories of
transcended time when you get to push the pause button and
stress melts away.
Thinking of why we want this for our
guests, I would tell you it is the same experience and
loving memories I have of going to my favorite Granny's
house. She always welcomed me with open arms which was
followed with a sit down to something good to eat and the
"oh so crisp and clean" linen sheets. Granny always was busy
doing something nice for me and I will never forget her love
and the wonderful feeling of knowing I was "Special". Now
that I am Granny's age I hope to give this back to
others. |
